Volunteer @ Alvin Sherman Library!

Volunteer @ Alvin Sherman Library

How to Apply

Any high school student between the ages of 14-18 is welcome to apply to volunteer for the Public Library Services (PLS) Department of the Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center.

Submit all applications to the PLS Reference Desk, located on the first floor of the library.

Please note that there are a limited number of teen volunteer positions available; submission of an application does not guarantee a position in the program.  Applicants will be contacted via email on a first come, first serve basis by the Teen Volunteer Coordinator to attend an upcoming Teen Volunteer Orientation.

If no volunteer positions are currently available, applications will be kept on file for a waiting list. Decisions as to who is accepted into the program are at the discretion of the Teen Volunteer Coordinator.
