You should always remember to do a thorough evaluation of a webpage or website before you decide to quote or cite the information you have found. Some questions you should ask yourself are: Who wrote the material? What sources did they use? Who owns the website?
It helps to know that your information is coming from a reliable source such as an educational institution (.edu), a government agency (.gov) or an organization (.org).
