Journal articles provide the principal way in which new scientific information is reported.
If you are looking for a specific journal use the Journal Finder to see if the library has access to it. Otherwise, the next place to check is to do a title search in NovaCat.
Indexes and databases list the information that appears in journals and help make it available. If you are looking for articles on a specific topic or by a particular author use a database to find them. In addition to journals databases also index other kinds of materials such as technical reports, conference papers, patents, and other kinds of publications that report new research results.
The following databases cover some of the mathematical literature.
The multidisciplinary databases cover a wide range of topics including chemistry. They include citations, abstracts and sometimes full-text. Click on the i icon for more information about the database.
