The Office of Sponsored Programs at Nova Southeastern University serves as the central point through which all proposals for sponsored funding from federal, state, and local government, and foundation and corporate sources for research, teaching/training, and community service projects are coordinated and administered.
The office's staff strives to provide quality service and support to faculty in all 16 of the university's academic units by assisting them in their sponsored funding endeavors throughout the pre- and post-award grant and contract phases. This is both rewarding and challenging given the broad diversity of NSU's research, teaching/training, and community service projects and program.
Staff can assist you in areas such as funding opportunities, proposal preparation and processing, assurances and certifications, compliance, agency liaison, and related training and education, to name a few.
The Office of Grants and Contracts works closely with the Contract and Grant Accounting Office located in NSUs Finance Department. Grant and Contract Accounting is responsible for maintaining accounting control over all federal, state, and local government and private foundation sponsored funding.
We hope you will take the time to explore the office's website and that you find the resources we've provided helpful to you. Please feel free to share your thoughts and comments with us.
