Real Estate and Property Law is an area of law that involves the purchase, sale, preservation, and protection of real property.  Real estate and real property attorneys create purchase and sale agreements, help clients comply with local zoning and construction regulations, and advise clients on historic preservation concerns.  They might also work on issues related to adverse possession or property lines.  Real property attorneys can assist with subdividing property, getting exceptions to zoning, and any other matters that may arise that concern a piece of property.
