Using the Alvin Sherman Library Research Guide

This guide is intended for graduate level students working on research projects such as theses and dissertations. Students working on short research papers should take a look at our Research Steps guide.  If you have any questions, remember to ask a librarian.

 

Citation Styles

You will want to make sure you're properly citing your sources! Please check with your school or advisor if you are in doubt regarding which citation style to use. Typically the health and medical sciences use AMA; Business, education, and psychology use APA; Oceanography uses Chicago; and literature and other languages use MLA.
