To call the Broward County Homeless Helpline, dial 211 from a landline phone or (954) 563-4357.

The 2-1-1 Homeless Helpline provides the following services to homeless individuals, families, and members of the Broward County community who are at risk of becoming homeless: 

  • non-judgmental listening and emotional support
  • assessment of needs and homeless situation
  • information and referral to support programs
  • screening for shelter placement
  • and more

Broward County offers a variety of programs and services to help support its residents that are in need of permanent housing.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides detailed information on programs designed to help the homeless. 

These programs are managed by local organizations that provide a range of services, including shelter, food, counseling, and jobs skills programs.
