This musical program by Dr. Chris Jackson, NSU faculty, will cover Zora Neale Hurston’s ability to capture colloquial speech in her writings and explore her folklore study projects that included recording stories and songs.
Sunday, Mar 18, 2012: The Big Read: Zora's Roots 2-3:30pm

The Big Read is an initiative by the National Endowment of the Arts to encourage people across the nation to pick up a good book. In harmony with that proposal, we’ll have a film screening of Zora’s Roots and a discussion of her life.
Wednesday, Mar 21, 2012: Zora Fest 2012
